Spacious Family Lodge

The Spacious Family Lodge is the larger of our two lodges, laid out for up to six guests who want room to spread out without giving up the quiet. It sits in open countryside at Drung, near Quigley's Point in Co. Donegal, about a twelve-minute drive from Derry City and the Foyle Bridge — close enough for a day in the city, far enough that the evenings belong to you.

Inside there is a king-size bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room, so the lodge suits a family, two couples travelling together, or a small group sharing. The living room is the heart of it: somewhere to spread out after a day exploring, with a Smart TV for the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper self-catering rather than reheating — you can cook a real meal here and eat it at your own pace. The shower room is finished to a modern standard with a walk-in shower, and there is hot and cold running water throughout.

Outside is where most guests end up. The lodge has its own covered deck with a pergola, looking out over the garden and the countryside beyond, and a private outdoor hot tub that is yours alone for the length of your stay — not shared, not booked in slots. On a clear night it is a good place to sit and watch the sky.
